I began painting horses five years ago. It took three months before I understood their anatomy. In 2018 I painted 52 horses in 52 weeks. Horses are magnificent - full of energy, strength, power, sensitivity, grace, and individuality. I have infinite respect for seeing their qualities on paper.
The horse, with beauty unsurpassed, strength immeasurable and grace unlike any other, still remains humble enough to carry a man upon his back.
